I had to see it. Roller coasters inside, every store one could imagine, the ultimate testament to American Consumerism and symbol of capitalism. Plus the new iPhone 3Gs came out and I had to check it out. I ventured inside and while I could try to describe the size I lack the works, just suffice it to say there is a roller coaster, actually two of them inside, so imagine how big a building would need to be to house a theme park:
After the theme park, I cruised around the mall. Huge, just huge. Five levels, countless corridors stacked full of every shop imaginable, I could see people spending days here, especially the shopping inclined. I made my way over to the Apple Store.
The 3Gs ran circles around my original iPhone. Well after about a minute playing I knew I had to make the upgrade. So I picked one up.
Got some tea, of course they have a tea store, it’s the Mall of America.
Took the phone home and with an easy plug and in and some time I was in business.
