My original goal was to find Tender Greens restaurant at The Liberty Station shopping center but I found them closed until the 4th of January. So next door I stumbled upon the Ikiru Japanese Restaurant.
I ordered the tempura udon and avacado cucumber Sushi roll
The soup arrived piping hot so I enjoyed the roll first, very good with the rice paper. Once the udon cooled I found it to be good as well. Nice thick noodles and I would have liked to see more veggies.
While I didn’t have a need for it personally, I was interested in this Chili Pepper that came out with the soup
