After getting the hitch put on the Xterra and getting everything ready on the Dutchess, I was off to my first RV Park. Here I am at the entrance:

A view of my campsite. I had to leave the car attached since I could not figure out the evening before how the heck to get it unhitched. Well later I found the ball lock had a hitch release and it was a simple task. Also I tried out the gas water heater.

Along the way this was a common thing, most gas stations were fillup before you pay and also many actually still accepted checks, coming from the California pay before you fill, it really said a lot to me that trust was common place, even in this economically challenged state.
